I think amongst Cone fanciers (or Conistas) Guy is seen as an important innovator but something of a loose cannon.

Sort of like Toscanini or Furtwangler.
 
I like that picture btw. Specifcally, the funky perspective that creates a sort of Godzilla Cone effect.
 
I remember after a party, waking up in bed with a keep left bollard.

Took me a few minutes of wracking my brain and trying to remember the name of the obvious presence in the bed with me before I turned around and realised we were never on first name terms.
 
aren't proper bollards supposed to be made of stone or concrete, not plastic?

I'm counting plastic bollards as a sub-species of Cone.
That was taken with a standard 35mm lens - if I'd have had a wide lens, it would have looked completely demented.
 
Bollard Trivia: The French word for mooring bollard, Bite, is slang for penis.
