Hi Folks,
bit of a curious one this. I have a few Classic Records albums in my collection.
Recently, I bought from Acoustic Sounds in the U.S. Jethro Tull Aqualung on 200gram.
Initially, as with all Classic Records, I was stunned. However, four months later I gave it another play. Now this must be the third or fourth time of play.
I was really shocked. In just about every louder part of songs, the music is accompanied by a load of crackley distorted pops. It renders the vinyl difficult to enjoy to say the least.
Anyone had a similar experience? My cartridge is a fourth month old modified Denon by Expert Stylus. Other records sound fine.
Opinions welcome!
Cheers,
Max
