  1. Things you need to know about the new ‘Conversations’ PM system:

    a) DO NOT REPLY TO THE NOTIFICATION EMAIL! I get them, not the intended recipient. I get a lot of them and I do not want them! It is just a notification, log into the site and reply from there.

    b) To delete old conversations use the ‘Leave conversation’ option. This is just delete by another name.

L’Ancien beaujolais 2018. And it’s really benefitting from having a bit of age. I’m quite tempted to buy a bunch and put them under the stairs for a few years.

I would, not least because the price is jumping up vintage by vintage. 2018 from TWS looks incredibly cheap.

I can buy L'ancien 2016 at a good price -- what do you think -- too old?

I've drunk l'ancien at 10 years old, and it was fresh as a daisy. 16 had high acidity, should be fine provided the fruit has held. Oddly I can't remember it, although I drank plenty. Probably too much.

Ronsay is an early drinker, seems to peak at about 18 months or so. I've never drunk one that old, but I wouldn't be afarid to try. It may well be fine.

Damn you all. I had forgotten about this little discontinuity in my stocks. Now my OCD has made me do something about it.

Tasmania has been 'the new Burgundy' for years, but somehow got sidelined by Central Otago and the PNW.

I have found it difficult to get into Portuguese wines, tried a few but not doing it. Can anyone suggest some in the region of £8-15 please

I've had a couple of good wines on holiday Duas Quintas,Post Scriptum. Here though I wonder if they're just eclipsed by the choice of French wines etc.
