A friend of mine always tries (and succeeds) in dragging me away from the office mid-afternoon on the 24th to go to the pub, so it now has become an accepted tradition. I'll work hard for the first part of the day to make up the loss and leave around 4.00pm. He however will go back to work after the pub and do some work at home on Christmas day too, whereas I won't.
I have a big workload waiting for me on the 2nd January and my wife will work during the Christmas week (she's working now- Sunday 4.55pm), simply because she is incapable of stopping.
These are the joys of having our own businesses.
