Cheap IEC Power Cable Recommendations

As above, probably a contentious issue with the whole argument for/against budget and hi-end cables, etc.

But, I'm just after 2 IEC cables - Maplins or is there something better out there. Don't want to sent more than £10 per cable.

Why don't you make some up?
An MK Tough Plug, a Schurter IEC, and some decent cable from B&Q.

That's what I'd do or get a s/h Naim cable with the highly desirable Crabtree plug.

Tired of a tangle of naim 6 ft cords behind the stereo, I switched them out for 1.5 ft Hosa PWC-401.5 Power Cords - all plugged into the approved naim powerstrip. I got them from a pro audio catalog (Full Compass) for ~$5- ea. Build quality looks identical to the stock naim cord. I imagine there's a similar source of Hosa cables where you are (UK?).

Standard Kettle Leads are on ebay for c £7 for two.
Ask around your mates, someones bound to have some left over from something.
Expensive packaging will not confer magical properties upon the enclosed cable.

I`d go for a diy Lapp cable, 1.5 or 2.5mm in diameter!
