That seems an awful lot but Quad stuff does go for a premium in Japan. The Japanese will happily pay for acknowledged classics in good condition and as far as I can tell Quad (and Leak) gear is fairly uncommon there.
Hi-Fi Do currently have a 303 up for £550 and a 303+33 for around a grand.
I wonder if there's some way to trade a container of 303s for one full of NS1000Ms
