Changing the back light bulb on a NAT101

Anybody on here done this? I've had a quick look and it looks fiddly as hell, unless there's an easier way that I've not seen yet.

Any help appreciated.

I've got a Nat101 and have changed the bulb several time owned from new i marked the dial / drum when I removed the cord.

I've just unearthed a 101 bulb and flying leads as supplied by Nain donkey's years ago which I never fitted.

You'll find aligning the dial with a known frequency at either end of the scale will be more accurate that lining up the mark on the top but it's a good starting point. I just liked to get them as caccurate as possible.
