I have a CDS2 which came with two different magnetic CD clamps, and I am unsure which is the correct one to use. One has three metal points in the inner centre of the underside, and also has three rubber pads on the outer side of the underside. This clamp magnetically clamps to the CD, but the pull doesn't feel particularly strong.
The other clamp has a round metal circular washer on the underside. The magnetic pull of this one is very strong indeed - I need to be careful when pulling it off the CD when it is in the player, because if I pull it straight up, the entire CD laser mechanism gets taken with it!
I wonder if any other Naimers know which is the correct clamp to use for the CDS2?
