CCTV / Surveillance camera recommendations

looking for camara(s) to monitor front of house. Able to record in the dark if that’s possible. Small front garden, No street lights

No idea what I should be looking for, but recording to SD card would be sufficient

I’ve got several Eufy cameras covering the house and have been very happy - including with the response when one failed (if you go for one I will probably have a discount code..). Might also be worth searching for a thread last year where a variety of alternatives were recommended.

I've got a Hive camera, pretty good in all conditions, probably cheaper options available though, but can be linked with other Hive products to make events, like turn on lights when motion detected etc.

Rather than a dedicated CCTV setup maybe a wildlife motion capture cam might suit?

I use Amazon Ring these days got rid of the pukka CCTV/DVR recorder.
