[WTD] Cassette recorder

[Howdy]

For our little bugger. We somehow think that cassettes players of many sorts are great technology for the little ones. Easy to understand and operate.

So, I'm looking for a cassette player/recorder, of smallish, portable sort.
Perhaps even voice recorder or walkman with speaker - must have its own speaker.

Some would call it portable cassette recorder, classroom/shoebox cassette recorder, field recorder etc.

So what do fish have? Obviously on rather cheapskate budget.

If it's for casual use, there's a few on AliExpress or Amazon...

Much to my surprise, I did see that there are new ones made today, also not expansive on Amazon.

Customers' review are a mixed bag, though. Of course reliability could also be the issue with decades old stuff.

Anyway, still looking for decent cassette player/recorder from fishie. Can be knackered, cosmetically, but must be in perfect working order.

No mention of your budget ? I have one that's not been used for a long time but it is the oppersite of what you are asking , sending it away for a full service and all new belts will be costly and time consuming , condition is very good.
