given the cheap price, why not start with the VM95 C then when bored with that get the 95ML and wonder at the extra definition…

Why not pick up https://pinkfishmedia.net/forum/threads/at-vm95ml-brand-new-and-sealed.267961/ and if you really feel the need for another stylus type just buy one of them to swap in. They all use the same body.

They just don't have a UK distributor. Ebay makes the world international so no probs with grey imports (like all the cartridges I''ve bought in the last 10Y).

British distributors really need to get their sh1te sorted out and become competitive IMHO!

It has been far cheaper to grey-import Nagaokas from Japan for a long while now. I bought my MP-500 from Germany (pre-Brexit) ages ago as it was a lot cheaper than the UK price and have sourced replacement styli from Japan at very low prices. I’ve bought two so far (I like to have a brand new one ‘in stock’) and I tend to wait until eBay are having one of their 10% or more off vouchers and then grab it. Probably pure fluke, but I didn’t get hit with tax either time too. Worked out about £175 for a MP-500 stylus, which is a good £100 less than the cheapest I ever saw them here.
