I gave up trying to embed the image sorry, man hath but a short time!

Bought these used from Les a while ago but only just getting round to doing something with them (i.e., build an amp based on NCC200s - a 260z basically).

The two resistors you can see, in holes labelled 'LED', have all the appearance of a bodge, and the wires linking them have been cut or just broken off. What do they/did they do? Can anyone think of any reason why I shouldn't just remove them?

Thanks

Alex

It has the look of mod to use ordinary LEDs with a series resistor in a position designed for the type which has the series resistor built in.

You can remove them no problem. There is provision of an LED on each power rail, with its accompanying dropper resistor.
