I use the Cambridge Audio One, located in my bedroom.

The sound is very good for the money.

So yep, this is my main and only system.

Have owned many audio equipment over the years, most of them costing 5-6 times the price of the CA.

Surprisingly I find the CA to be the most musically satisfying. I don't know why? Perhaps the CA is adding some coloration?

But as always - ymmv!

It doesn’t matter why. All that matters is that you are happy with the sound. :)

What speakers do you use with the Cambridge?

We have one in the living room linked to the telly via optical.
Did use it for music for a while too (via USB from Mac Mini)

Fine amp and very versatile .... and yes, great value for money :)
 
I think that we sometimes fall upon a device or devices that produce a sound that is near to our ideal. It might be modestly priced or it might be expensive.Even better if it is moderately priced.

The Dalis are good speakers. I’m not surprised you like them with the Cambridge. There’s something particularly satisfying about a VFM system that you enjoy
