Has anyone else come across the popping through speakers at certain volume level changes (e.g. between -40 and -25db) on the v1 version of this amp?
If so, what i'd like to know is whether you got the amp repaired, or if not did the issue get worse over time?
Reason I ask is I've been informed that they no longer manufacture the 840a even in v2 guise, and from what I read they've not really cracked this issue on the v1. Shame really, cracking amp otherwise.
