No. I prefer poached eggs, so I just use a silicone mould in a frying pan.

Just as well because I was going to ask if you serve the boarding house guests from it wearing a house coat and Garfield cat slippers.
I picked up a couple of small non stick pans after getting fed up with a big heavy le crueset on which the Teflon had perished. It’s amazing just how non stick these pans are- you can even do eggs ‘over easy’ without fear.

Haven't read the whole thread.. but I gave up keeping Eggs in the fridge years ago. It makes them spit when frying and difficult to time for boiling.

As for how to take the top off. As I recall, Dennis the Menace always lined up at least a dozen in front of him in Egg Cups and removed the tops with a Samurai-like action of a table knife. That'll do for me...
