So I just bought a Hugo 2 with a 2go
As far as I can work out the single benefit for me, as an iPhone Tidal hifi iPhone streamer.... is Airplay instead of Bluetooth
I don’t use the SD Card slots, and believe it or not I though the Ethernet port was going to be a USB port... so I can’t even use a USB cable
Yes I know I should spend ages comparing and listening for differences, but it stresses me right out which is no state to be hearing subtle differences in sound....
So tell me - any real audible difference between Airplay, or Bluetooth on an iPhone 7 (not aptx) into the Hugo (aptx) ?
Also I’ve never seen my DAC show above 88khz when streaming a Tidal Master album... if that adds anything to the equation
Hoping for lots of “don’t be so stupid it all sounds the same” - as £800 for a large Airplay dongle seems insane now I come to think about it
But don’t be shy telling me Bluetooth is pants and even your Mum can hear the difference!
