Beware mk1 Arcs advertised as mk2

Fair enough, but these aren't really Mark Is either. This was kind of an interim version between the Mark I and Mark II with performance much closer to the latter. The true Mark I had a recessed and much bigger tweeter surround and, I believe less sturdy cabinets and different bass driver. The sound was much less refined by all accounts, hard to drive and a bit shouty. I owned this exact version and an audition vs the Mark II didn't make me want to switch for the extra cash.

PS I sold mine for half what they are asking, bought some Cheviots for a third of what they're asking and have never looked back.
