Best single upgrade - and free on the NHS

I've just had my ears cleared out! Of course, the first thing then is to get home quickly and put on a record.

Blimey!! I had been wondering about changing speakers, wires and all sorts. After the treatment it all just sounds wonderfully good. The top end is back, imaging has improved, detail is extraordinarily sharp.

It's the biggest single improvement I've every experienced

on a more serious note, it is interesting* to consider how many times in recent months I've sat trying pick up nuances in my system completely unaware that my hearing was probably only working at 50%.

*My wife would say hysterical rather than interesting
