Having finally found audio nirvana about a year back, I am bored with no box swapping, so am asking this question out of wanting something to tinker with 
I currently have set up PEQ inside the amp for my speakers (GGNTKT M1S) - but it’s a pain to tweak / change settings as I need to plug a laptop in.
I stream music to a WIIM Pro - which has recently released PEQ, where I could easily set different PEQ settings depending on the listening position. It goes out via digital coax cable to the amp
So in theory is there any difference to whether I set the EQ on the streaming software, or inside the amp?
And before anyone says - I don’t have the time or inclination to try both and listen for the difference (especially as switching wouldn’t be instant)
Shouldn’t really make any difference right?
