Best place to get Naim Naca5 cable?

Hi Folks,

Iv'e just bought a pair of old naim amps and some royd minstrel speakers an dhave just realised i need Naim cable... eek! I was just wondering if anyone could recommend the cheapest place to buy Naca5 cable online in the UK or whether anyone has any used cable for sale?

Unless you've really got your heart set on NACA5, consider some of Les Avondale's Black Link, it's lighter and more flexible and seems to work better with Naim amps...

There's usually some in the classifieds at decent prices, better to buy second hand than new.
You can also use NVA/exposure/Tellurium or any low capacitance cables, as well as the excellent Avondale mentioned above.

Thanks.. must admit you've got me thinking whether i should just blindly buy the expensive NACA5 cable now!

You could try Linn K20 which is identical to the older NACA4. Not sure how this compares to NACA5 though. I've seen this as low as £3/metre (new) online, eg. http://www.thehomecinemacentre.co.uk/index.php/speakers/floorstanding_speaker/linn_k20/

If you do want Naca5, then try Loud and Clear; they charge £20 per metre, so £120 for a 3 metre stereo pair, and termination with standard banana plugs is included. (extra if you want Naim plugs).
I bought mine from L&C via ebay, arrived next day. You can choose black or white.
