  1. Things you need to know about the new ‘Conversations’ PM system:

    a) DO NOT REPLY TO THE NOTIFICATION EMAIL! I get them, not the intended recipient. I get a lot of them and I do not want them! It is just a notification, log into the site and reply from there.

    b) To delete old conversations use the ‘Leave conversation’ option. This is just delete by another name.

I've used Mozilla Thunderbird for several years and had no problems.

Mozilla Thunderbird by a distance. A huge user base and has been updated regularly for the many years (?10+) that I’ve been using it

Cheers, much as I thought - it was my go to on Mac OS and Linux, too. Now installed and downloading mail.

I have been using Thunderbird since the mid 90s when it was included in the Firefox product.

Em Client is free for one account. Not too expensive for an upgrade for extra accounts.

What do you need a client for ? The web interfaces are so well made today.

Emclient, Thunderbird is so old fashioned in comparison.

Free for two email accounts, you have to pay for more than 3 accounts.

I always 'disable conversations' in emclient settings to prevent it grouping stuff together by subject.
