Has anybody been watching the "Martin Scorsese Presents the Blues" series on Beeb 4?

Saw the one last week (not from the start though), which was interesting. IIRC it's on at 9:30pm on Thursdays, with a repeat late on a Friday or Saturday night.

Really enjoyed last week's. Blast from the past listening to all the talking heads, particularly John Mayall.

Yes - good, wasn't it.

I called a friend to tell him to watch it, but he'd been booted out of the TV room by his other half, as she was watching something else, and was not to be disturbed under pain of death... so he missed out.

I thought the first two films were excellent. Those original black bluesmen are wonderful to behold.

Apparently it was poorly reviewed by the critics.
