BBC 4. FRIDAY 10th. JAZZ.

Oh, that was good.

Have only had an audio tape of it since original broadcast, haven't seen it on video since that day.

"Can't sing the blues, huh? Cannot sing the blues. Gee, that's rough."
 
There's some strange choices of guests in later programmes, but any time getting to see Peterson & Co in action is time well spent.

In the mid-1980s, Scottish TV broadcast "Jazz at The Gateway", recorded at their Gateway studios in Edinburgh. Lots of trio and solo performances from Oscar, edited with guest appearances from various artists. Not all live in the studio together, I got the impression that it was compiled from separate tapings, but....
