The media had a habit of dragging out Barry Cryer to eulogise over the death of one of his contemporaries.
The Wife and I always felt for Mr. Cryer having to comment on yet another death.

Me too. Saw him at "an evening with" outdoor event a few years back. So many stories and great humour. RIP.

Probably not, they have transitioned to a newer set of regulars (like Tony Hawk). It won't be the same (like when they lost Humph), but it is still one of the best things out there

I think Cryer also wrote for The Kenny Everett Video Show, which I loved, as a teenager (and not just for the "naughty bits").

Checking it out again on YouTube and it still stands up pretty well.
