Bands that changed...for the worse

On Thom Yorke, I thought The Eraser was a great album.

You only have to listen to Tom Tom Club to hear where the talent in Talking Heads really was.
Probably explains why we have such differing taste in kit, Eraser is terrible, have an original vinyl copy which I listened to once;)
 
The worst of all IMHO are those that don’t change at all and just endlessly reheat their past.
There’s one exception, AC/DC. At some point their formula was perfect to the point that from that moment on, nothing should ever change. They rocked, they rolled, they swung, they turned on. For me their music works to this day.

And when they reached that point, releasing any more new material was superfluous.
