Balanced Audio Attenuator Question

Hi
I have a ice power class D amp which I have modified to BTL which works well but the Dvr134 unbalanced to balanced converter adds X2 gain .
Could I just add an balanced attenuator before the amp ?
Or is there a better way of doing this ?
Just want a balanced signal without the double gain the Drv134 adds .

Add it in a way that it doesn't have to drive long cables, so it's either before BTL (as normaly preamps have it) or before amp (within it's case ass most professional amps have it).
Having it before preamp has the advantage that it doesn't have to be balanced.

You could add a pair of resistors at the DRV134 input on each channel; something like 2k2 (or 4K7) in series with the signal, and 2k2 (or 4k7) to 0v. Same thing as an attenuated interconnect but likely easier. PD's B4 will have no problem driving the lowish input impedance.
