We have for sale an Aurender W20 Music Server
This is pre-owned, one owner from new, this was originally purchased in 2014, was originally installed by me.
This is black and has 2 x 3TB HDD installed, it also has a 240GB SDD drive for the OS and importantly the caching of music files from the main HDD’s prior to playback.
The primary audio board is powered by a pair of batteries that alternate which one feeds the audio board at any one time. Aurender estimate batteries life is around 40 years at 8 hours use per day.
It is supplied in original packaging (double boxed) and comes with a UK power cable and original instruction manual.
Build quality and the fit and finish is superb, weighing in at almost 22kg.
Cosmetically it is in excellent condition, there are a couple of tiny little marks to the lid, you can make out in the image, but nothing serious, the front panel is unmarked.
The software has been updated 4.21.971 which is up to date according to the Conductor App
You can stream Tidal, Qobuz and Spotify via the App as well as storing your own ripped or downloaded music collection. Music can be easily imported onto the HDD over a network from a computer.
In terms of connection an Aurender can be connected to a DAC in a number of ways, via USB, AES (single wire or dual wire), optical toslink and SPDIF on RCA and BNC. There are 2 additional USB connections for extra storage and a Word Clock input which enhances performance further if you can utilise it.
