Atkinson compact transmission line speakers.

I have been investigating some of the other transmission lines that P. Atkinson made.
He was quite a respected designer in his day.

My little ones are growing on me.
There are some similarities with the LS3/5a, but the bass end is different.
Perhaps less ‘warm’ and also a little more defined.

Martyn, how are you getting on with the mini T-line Atkinsons, have they become your favourite? ;)

I have to admit that, in spite of liking them, they have been sold to help finance another
speaker project.
Fortunately, the new owner is extremely happy with them.
As I suspected he would be...

You either do not want them to go and cannot stop listening to them or they'll get moved on quickly. No sense in hanging on to a couple of dozen speakers. So what is the latest speaker project, something LS3/5A or Q7 related or something totally different?

No sense in hanging on to a couple of dozen speakers.
I wish I could have followed this advice... At one point in my mid-20s I had around 40 pairs of speakers in the house, now I'm down to around half that which is still FAR too many, especially considering they're now all competing for a place in one system! :D (I used to have five...)

I like acquiring speakers, either working or needing work, enjoying them and then moving them on.
I’m currently working on some LS3/5As.
All the ones I’ve owned have been sold on.
I try not to collect speakers.
