I expect most here know about Thom Hogan, and like all plain spoken men, some will have different opinions to him, but as a reviewer, and more importantly, as a writer of the definitive guides to Nikon equipment (and other stuff, he's a busy man) he is the best IMO. I have two of his Nikon guides downloaded. One for the Z50 and now one for the D850, and no matter how much I think I know, he knows more. The 850 guide for example is 1084 pages long, covering, discussing and suggesting over every tiny aspect of the camera's many uses. It's invaluable if you want to get 99% out of your investment.
Thom's site is here: https://bythom.com
There are links on this page (bottom) to the other stuff he reviews and tests.

and these are the Nikon Guides: https://www.dslrbodies.com/books/bythom-complete-guides-/

Well worth a look for complete info and definitive reference I think.

Thanks nice recommendation. I probably use about 5% of my D850’s features - a lot to explore and will maybe invest in the guide thanks. Hope you’re liking your D850.
