Ashes Test

My old Boss, at Oxford University, used to the call the Aussies ' The Old Enemy '. Just when you thought you had them beaten, they would come back and give England a bloody nose.
His experiences went back to the Bodyline Series and the infamous aluminium cricket bat.
I can see we English think we have them beaten, especially when they are over here. The effect of a home crowd is much larger in Australia. For all our vocal support in England, we are still a reserved race when it comes to vocal support.
In Australia it's almost religious support by the home crowd.
I wouldn't be surprised if we are comprehensively beaten in ever Test Match.
