Archiving negs

Can I just ask what archival transparencies you lot are using for your MF film? I'm just about to run out of my current batch and find it difficult to get decent prices for ones for 6*7 as opposed to 6*6.

WH Smith sell 20 and 40 page A4 display albums, where the pages are transparent plastic pockets, big enough to hold one roll of 120 cut into strips of 2 or 3 frames. Much cheaper than the real thing, and they do the job well enough.

That's interesting - are they wide enough for 3 frames of 6*7 though? I'll go down armed with some film strips and see...

Never tried 6x7. I can fit a roll of 6x9 into them, cut into 2s, three strips placed vertically and the fourth horizontally above them, if you see what I mean

I use the Clearfile sheets for all my 35mm film (mounted slide and cut film). I can do contacts straight through the sheets and they're archival.
