I was wondering if anyone has shipped to slovenia to see if there are any problems and best carrier to use for this . It is not somewhere where I have sent equipment before so any comments would be useful
I've shipped stuff with UPS without a problem. I'm not really sure why you would expect trouble - Slovenia is a lovely country and a part of the EU. You should take the goods yourself and spend a few days.
I shipped two ESL 988s with UPS (called OOPS informally) from the UK to Estonia. One was damaged and UPS blamed the original boxes. Upon investigating I heard more stories about them. Would not recommend UPS.
I've used UPS for many years now and without a hitch. They will insure for the full value of the goods, where some companies insure only up to £500 or so.
I have sent a couple of items to Slovenia by UPS and they took around a week.
