I love his motown work only up to music of my mind because i love the track superwoman, after that he left me a bit cold. But i love his early motown stuff to bits

Wish someone would release some of his live stuff from the early 70's with the wonderlove band. It's pretty amazing and VERY funky.

I saw him in Brum. 36 songs in 2hrs 15 mins according to the Mrs! Generally very good; band were great. There was little bit too much of the PC type talking. But generally really good. Well worth the money and the effort it took to get the tickets.

Not my cup of tea, but a friend of mine saw him in Manchester this week. He paid £200 for the ticket & was 'treated' to an hour of improvised harmonica playing, strange out of synch hand clapping & a full blown political speech about how we should all vote for Barack Obama!
Maybe he forgot where he was! Aparently said.."I love you people of Mancor" !!??
The 2nd hour was very good though according to friend.

He was amazing on Ross's show last night. Played Songs In The Key Of Life this morning - classic album. Would love to catch him live but probably too late. His daughter is as fit as a butchers dog anarl!
