an adventure in time and space

It even found a space for a little cameo of the delightful Delia Derbyshire and the Radiophonic Workshop, though I sadly missed that bit.

It lasted for 5 seconds and she didn't get to say anything.

However, the programme was very enjoyable, and I bet there are awards in the offing for David Bradley who was superb as William Hartnell.

I've just watched this and thought it was superb (I'm old enough to remember watching the first episode of Dr Who). I particularly enjoyed the moment when Matt Smith appeared for a few seconds - masterfully done.

I thought it was superb too.
A great script by Mark Gatiss excellently directed by Terry McDonough, it even had a really nice colour grade to it.

Talking of time travel, did anyone else notice William Hartnell's car by his house? In the opening part, set in 1963, his car had a 'D' registration plate.
That reg. started on January the 1st 1966...
Clever, eh?
