AMM is no more

Some of the best gigs of my life have been AMM gigs, I must have seen them at least a dozen times over the last 35 years or so, and they've always been magnificent, making the close listening required for good improv seem completely effortless. And now they've finally stopped, as drummer Eddie Prevost hits 80. Shame to have missed their final performance, but Richard Williams has blogged about it
