The other day I popped A Scarcity of Miracles on for a play. It’s been lurking for quite a while and for reasons unknown it just hadn’t featured since I first got it. Wow. Utterly brilliant. Great laid back stuff, superbly recorded. It’s had an outing three times in the past four days!
Tony Levin’s bass really stands out as does Gavin Harrison’s more laid back drumming which is just in tune with the whole vibe.
Makes me wonder what others are lurking, gathering dust, which ought to be dug out and given a spin.
