Advice needed for a Cyrus newcomer

Hi everybody, this is my first post on PFM.
I would appreciate any advice on try newly acquired Cyrus CDi CD player.
I purchased this Edmond hand at the beginning of December and I have been so impressed by its sound quality.
However, I am becoming increasingly frustrated by the noise the player makes when player discs. There are times when I can hear it over the playback, which is very annoying.
I understand that Cyrus transports have a bit of a reputation, but I wondering if anybody else on here has experience of this issue and what my best course of action should be. Would a full service with Cyrus be worthwhile and would it sort the issue log term?

I appreciate any help and advice with this matter.

I have a CDI and the transport only makes noise when loading a disc. When playing the transport is whisper quiet.
Sounds like it needs a service.

welcome lovely to hear from you on pfm . was it new when you bought it ? some CD players do make a noise when playing , i cant stand it . if its only 5 weeks old a service will not address the issue
