Netflix have added a great quality print of Carpenters "The Thing".

Amazing on the 65" OLED here.

Carpenters attention to detail is class

We watch a cure for wellness lastnight it was ok but could have been an hour and a half rather the 2.5 and the plot kinda got silky half way through

Yes! Our Planet has incredible footage! Things you have not seen before.

For a show with ecological purpose, though, the very name "Our Planet" is a bit problematical. In one sense it suggests the 'nature as property' ideology that has, arguably, gotten us into a big mess.

Incidentally Zombie Zombie did a great EP of John Carpenters music you can find it on tidal with this exact search term:

John Carpenter Zombie Zombie

Also give 'The Dawn Wall' a watch if your bingeing on El Capitan docs

Watched it the other day Gerard, thanks, great story of perseverance! Really enjoyed it, like the other two, Free Solo and Valley Uprising, glad I got recommended them, cheers.

Watched 2 winners on Netflix this week. Gravity, which was mesmerising with all the space visuals, and Sandra Bullock's best film by a mile. And Trumbo, it was amazing to see Breaking Bad's Walt in such a different role, making such a good job of it.

I really enjoyed "The Rolling Stones - Ole Ole Ole, a Trip Across Latin America" on Netflix. A very good programme with some interesting interviews and great concert footage. A cut above your average rock band documentary.
