A bit of good news?

The wise never post on Internet forums
More than 40 years after the event, the US has taken a little responsibility for its shameful use of chemical weapons https://www.bbc.com/news/world-asia-48000185 .

Anyone who has been to the War Remnants Museum in HCM will remember the photos, and the faces of the viewers, stunned and mortified by what they were seeing. This is a drop in the ocean, but it it better than nothing.

Just.

Nope, in fact, it is under his watch that a tiny bit is being done.

Most people are happily unaware of the ongoing impact of that weapon, nor how much, and how many people continue to be affected. This isn't just people born 40 plus years ago, its impact is still current in babies being born today.

A small step in the right direction but far more is required and should be provided. The use of such chemicals has destroyed so many lives support for those who suffer the effects should also be given in fact I am quite surprised that there is no international legal or treaty framework to enforce financial and medical support in such cases.
