Went through loads of high end bins over the last couple of years including models from all the above brands and finally settled on a pair of Nikon HG L 10x25 which I got for under £300. No longer a current model but still widely available brand new at decent prices (original rrp was about £600 iirc).
Very compact but beautifully made and so light you can carry them with just your thumb wrapped around one of the barrels and they fit in a trouser pocket so no excuse not to take them everywhere.
