No, they are not WiFi routers.

I have the original box for one. Reduced to £30 each or £80 for the 3

I know that they are not WiFi routers by design but sometimes you can use different gear to perform more work than were designed for.
E.g. My current wifi extenders are old BT routes which were not specifically designed for that task but they fulfill that role pretty well.
