What is the wing on the back for? Do the Merlin engine and two rear axles not provide enough down force? For those interested in putting a Merlin in a Car Jay Leno (when he's not on fire or crashing into shops) has got a soft spot for them. The Rolls Royce is rather elegant compared.
I think the same guy Leno got the Rolls from built this! Paul Jameson.

They are two different vehicles. The upper one was his first, it caught fire in Sweden. It was presented at a motor show in Stockholm and on the way to ferry back home (of course, he drove to the show, in the winter! No silly trailers there.) disaster struck. It ended up in a scrap yard in Härryda, very near the Gothenburg airport, I think.
The second pic is, the second one.

Or a Reliant Scimitar for the Middle EastWow.. fugly. It looks as though cousin Eddie has turned the Griswold's car into a hot hatch.
They prefer reliable scimitars.Or a Reliant Scimitar for the Middle East
Wow, that’s pure Homer Simpson!
Four days to go, so there’s still a chance for you to own this monstrosity:-

He lived a couple of miles from us at that time. Rumour was he used to tow caravans at 150 in Germany! I think his plan was to run it on the salt flats for a record where he reckoned it would hit 265mphYehbut, no tow bar for the caravan.
I remember this from back in the day and thought it was amazing ,
Seeing it now on a couple of videos belching out blue smoke looks like it may be due for a re build , at vast £££££££ , Will it stay as the beast with the new owner ? Or will it be re cycled and the engine put back in a plane , Time will tall .
That wouldn’t be allowed, as far as I’m aware, as it is unlikely to have a continuous, traceable history, and the engine is from a tank, not an aircraft.
