My wonderful 44s for sale as I can't justify 3 sets of speakers in the house. They were manufactured by Celestion in the UK, in the mid 1970s. They are a 3-way speaker with a 12 inch woofer, a 6 inch (15cm) mid unit and a 1 inch (25mm) tweeter. Dimensions are (approx) 760cm * 370cm * 250cm...

I own the 44s. I’m thinking about a change of amp and am torn between the 2 opposites of modern v legacy. To help in the decision process, would any existing owners of the Quad 303 have information as to how much the amp draws from the mains, assuming ‘normal’ listening levels. I’d be interested...
