Dpreview is closing

Heavy bummer, Amazon is pulling the plug on dpreview.com. A real shame, as I have gleaned a whole lot of useful information there.
 
I didn't even know Amazon had anything to do with DPReview.
Not sorry for the guy who started it, he must be swimming in millions.
 
You’d hope that something could be done, maybe some of the team could continue with a YouTube channel.
 
Surely not a big task to give a new home to? Unless the IP is owned by Amazon who might block such a thing?

Nobody will want to take on Amazon in court, so they’ll have to agree to any use of the archives.

Type in dpreview.com, and you'll find they have snapshots of the website going all the way back, with reviews being visible (not just the current version of the review, but the review as it appeared on a specified date, so you can see revisions for example).
