Your favourite mafia film or related actors films etc

And in the opinion of nearly everyone else although, as much as I love it, I actually prefer Jackie Brown :D

Agree. Jackie Brown is much better...

Pulp fiction, IMO is a cult film because those watching know no better and it appealed to those born in the 90s... Its too cartoon like...

Goodfellas, Casino, Gotti, King of New York, Donnie Brasco, OUATIA, The Godfather...

They're proper films IMO

TBH IMO (and it's a genre I love) you just need The Godfather 1 and 2 (or even better the 5 part TV series that Coppola re-edited the films into chronological order for) and The Sopranos TV series.... with a side serving of Goodfellas if you really want. That's it basically, genre covered!

I like a good crime drama:

The Long Good Friday
A History of Violence
Eastern Promises
Reservoir Dogs
Boyz in the Hood
The King of New York
In Bruges
Sexy Beast

The Yakuza is well worth a watch, featuring Robert Mitchum.

Could lead down a rabbit hole of Japanese movies.

3 cracking early American films about organised crime:

The Public Enemy
White Heat
The Roaring 20’s

And for a bit of Japanese organised crime, I’d suggest John Woo’s ultra violent melodrama ‘Bullet in the head’.

Wow. I knew I hadn’t imagined it. An old girlfriend had a two cassette vhs box that had that on it and it was brilliant.

Always fancied trying the same with Pulp Fiction.
