Pinkfish Petrolheads - driving gloves?

Tumeni Notes

pfm Member
I want to get a pair of driving gloves for next winter. Problems with the various gloves around the house are basically; the woolly ones don't grip the steering wheel, and those that do are too chunky to operate steering-wheel and other control buttons.

Does anyone have suggestions for grippy gloves with thin fingertips?

It’s a look that says ‘I’m in control of my vehicle’.

Dents,

I got some from here, keep my delicate paws warm in the winter......

The ones I bought don't appear to be there, but the prices were much less 'shafty' when I got mine, they were 45 quid. They were just described as 'Men's Handsewn Leather Driving Gloves'

I was sorely tempted to go 'full partridge' :)

The only logical reason for gloves is if you need to be fire-proofed? I even prefer driving in bare feet :)

The best cheap gloves are workers gloves. They are very grippy, ideal for stuff around the garden, and for, well, general building work. I've got a pair of these in the glove compartment. They are comfortable and warm enough for working outside in the winter. Price is good too.
