Johnson, though terrible in every other way, was right (IMHO) in his leading stance on Ukraine, which historically will probably be looked back on as the most crucial event of the early part of this century. Corbyn on the other hand would have been the ideal choice for Putin....No, I voted Corbyn. We’re you one of those Corbyn haters that have us Johnson?
In a way that's weird luck. Trump, on the other hand, is terrible in every way, including on Ukraine.Johnson, though terrible in every other way, was right (IMHO) in his leading stance on Ukraine, which historically will probably be looked back on as the most crucial event of the early part of this century. 2024 US election should be lots of fun!
There is dissent in policy circles in the US, from all-out Ukraine support.... http://responsiblestatecraft.org/2023/02/01/the-soft--chimes-of-a-song-ukraine-doesnt-want-to-hear/
should readSecond, Russia “perceives this war to be near existential,”
Second, Putin “perceives this war to be near existential,” (and he's right)

Trump wing of the Republican party is running on "no money for Ukraine, let's give their land to our friend, Putin." That seems to be your position in a nutshell, though you are ultra shy and embarrassed to publicly state it.Warmongers and arm dealers never lose the US elections, it's a matter of culture!
This must be true happiness for you!How come you declared yourself a warmonger, I didn't say that!
Meanwhile more public voices for "facing Russia directly, rather than leaving Ukraine to do all the work" - Tobias Ellwood UK MP.

The end is near.
It really means ''let Russia have what it wants rather than let Ukraine do all the work."How come you declared yourself a warmonger, I didn't say that!

yourself a warmonger
blah blah
Let’s be clear who the warmongers are.
Serbia, and as it seems also you, seek, provoke and dream escalation and more direct involvement to serve your local escalation interests in Kosovo with Wagner lined up on the borders.
Serbia has a contract with Russia on foreign policy alignment, wants chaos to be able to initiate more genocide, supports Russia openly (unfortunately goes for an alarming portion of the population), recruits and keeps all channels open to facilitate Russia.
But this is nothing new and let’s be clear who the warmongers are.

On the other side of the debate from the last item I posted, here is an article from "Foreign Policy" urging a massive increase, both in quantity and capability, of weapons and aid supplied to Ukraine. A leading reason is the suggestion that Biden will not retain public approval unless the war progresses toward a Russian defeat. The writer fears that in the event of stalemate, the political opponents of aid will succeed. The politics of war are not pretty.
