Is a new Rega Apollo on the way?

I would guess the answer is probably more that they hope so rather than anything will be coming imminently, given the sudden cessation. It would suggest a problem on the supply side maybe...

Regretfully we have had to announce that the Apollo CD player will no longer be manufactured due to the unavailability of key Global Silicon control chip sets.

We are disappointed as we were not given final purchase opportunities and have been unable to secure supplies form any other sources despite months of procurement efforts.

We will, however, continue to manufacture the Saturn and Isis CD players for the foreseeable future and offer servicing options for all models.

Definitely supply side. I hope they sort it out and that there is a new model.

Me too, I do know some of the UK dealers were advertising on Instagram that they had a few in stock.

Managed to snag an ex dem Apollo and I’m pretty impressed. Been using it as a transport with my RME ADI2 and direct into an IO both through HD660s and I’m not convinced there’s much difference between the two systems.
