Naim dac v1/ Tidal

Does anyone use the v1 and tidal?
Just tried using it in exclusive mode and at every track change the volume rises to 60 on the volume control . Is this a set up issue?
All the previous dacs I've used haven't had this issue but they didn't have a volume control to be fair. I'm assuming that if I use a pre and put the v1 in fixed output this issue won't arise. I'll try the pre Monday when it's back but just thought I'd ask .

That does not sound right. I have a V1 that plays fine, with or without engaging the fixed volume output (I currently use it as a DAC only into an NAC282, so typically with fixed volume) .... but my Tidal is played through Roon via Antipodes server/player, which might change the scenario. I'm not technical enough to be sure.
 
I want to use exclusive as the sa.mple rate is correct from hifi to master which shows up on the v1 display. Butthe vol sets at 60 on each track change I.stumped .
