An absolute legend, though I have to admit I had no idea he was still alive. He leaves one hell of a legacy, his name is on the inside gatefold of so many of my Impulse and Verve albums before we even get to CTI. RIP.

Sad news, but a very decent innings, and as PaulfromCamden says at the top - quite some legacy.
